Is Sugarbook a one-way ticket to a luxury relationship or another overhyped platform? Is Sugarbook legit at all? I’m here to find out. I’ve written a Sugarbook review so that you can decide if the site can deliver and is worth your time.
What is the Sugarbook Audience?
The Sugarbook website has a mix of hot chicks, from the US to Australia, and everyone in between. Most women are in their 20s and make an effort to make their profiles stand out. 100% of users have at least 1 photo (well, you can’t sign up without one), and around 90% have 3+ photos added (including spicy private pics). There is also all the basic info on appearance, traits, preferences, and habits, but what I liked the most was the last visit time. So, you can actually track how active users are and have some healthy stalking sessions of the hot young girls you like.
Sugarbook In Brief

Sugarbook is a sugar dating platform that is also used for casual arrangements. It was launched in 2016 by Darren Chan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The site quickly racked up a whopping 4M sugar babies, daddies, and mommies ready for judgment-free dating.
So, what is Sugarbook? It’s a place to find model-like profiles and high-rollers ready to spoil. And the process is very simple! All the features and services are designed to find a match fast. Also, there are sleek mobile apps for iOS and Android, so that members can look for sugar anytime, anywhere.
But I must warn you that the site is not fully free. Sure, you can join and use a standard membership free of charge, but premium features are paid.
How much is Sugarbook?
For the sake of the review, I’ve bought a one-month membership on Sugarbook, which cost me $89.95 (which isn’t a chump change). If I were actually looking for a hot sugar baby, I’d opt for a six-month subscription, as this way, one month would be only $49.95 (I’d save up over 40%).
Currently, the Sugarbook price for membership is:
Also, you can get coins (on-site virtual currency)
- 2,000 coins—$9.99
- 6,113 coins—$26.99 (full price $29.99)
- 12,250 coins—$53.99 (full price $59.99)
- 21,117 coins—$84.99 (full price $99.99)
- 55,888 coins—$119.99 (full price $249.99)
- 88,888 coins—$319.99 (full price $399.99)
- 220,888 coins—$749.99 (full price $999.99)
- 399,999 coins—$1,439.99 (full price $1,799.99)
- 888,888 coins—$3,099.99 (full price $3,999.99)
- 1,688,888 coins—$5,899.99 (full price $8,399.99)
Payment methods:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Amex
- Visa Electron
- Discover
- Diners Club,
- Maestro
- JCB
I have to say that premium costs a bit. But hey, sugar ain’t cheap, you know. Besides, female profiles have lower prices, as far as I know. With the current promo deal, the cost per month starts at $13.95 and ranges to $7.95 (in a 6-month premium subscription.)

How to create an account on Sugarbook?
Becoming a member of the Sugarbook site is not hard. It takes around 5-7 min, and those are the things you need to share:
- Go to the site
- Click on Registration
- Fill in basic info (sex, dating preference, email, password)
- Confirm your email
- Enter your display name and age
- Pick the terms of the relationships (PPM, MA, open relationship, etc.)
- Pick your annual income, net worth, dating budget, relationship status, and other things on your habits and preferences.
- Upload your photo (can’t skip)
Signing up takes some time, but I don’t mind that. The more questions you answer, the more compatible hotties you're gonna get.
Getting Started With Sugarbook
When I first visited Sugarbook, it reminded me of a cool luxury lounge. The design is clean and well-fitting, and everything loads fast. Features and profiles are well-organized, and it’s easy to access profiles of sexy sugar babies.
It's cool that this isn’t a site that’s overwhelming you with 1,000 features that you don't know how to use. I’d say that it's quite newbie-friendly. But I can't say that I'm a fan of ads. There are no third-party ads, but Sugarbook advertises its discounts, competitions, and awards, which might give you a better idea of what is going on on the site. Still, sometimes it’s too much. No idea why other Sugarbook reviews fail to mention that.
How does Sugarbook work?
Sugarbook works similarly to other sugar dating sites. You sign up, create a profile, and start searching for potential matches. And it doesn’t matter if you use a Sugarbook dating app or the desktop version.
To find the hottest girls, you just need to go to the Search section and play with basic and advanced filters to tailor the user base to your specific tastes. Also, I found it cool that there are 3 big sections—Recently Active, Nearby, and Newest—that allow you to choose dates in your area and not miss the newbie SBs. Overall, search is designed to save time. Thumbs up!
Also, the streams are definitely worth checking out. All public streams are free and you can see an SB you like IRL. So, no catfishing worries. So, is Sugarbook real sugar babe hot spot? Hard yes!
Chat options
There are quite a few communication ways I was able to test on Sugarbook:
- Group chat. Many gorgeous women do streams, and there are even private rooms. Both options have a free group chat.
- Messaging. The good old sliding into the DMs also works great on Sugarbook. But note that unlimited chat is premium only.
- Read receipts. You can check and know if they’re ghosting you.
- Private photo sharing. I like to peek into more spicy SB’s photos.
I can’t say that the choice is crazy diverse. It’s rather basic, and that’s a good thing. Sugarbook has what actually 100% of dating site users use the most. It’s fun enough and not overwhelming.
Extra special features
My fav special feature is Streams, hands down. It is actually rare for sugar dating sites to have it. It gives a sense of presence and you can interact not just with a particular user streaming but also with other Sugarbook members in free group chat. When I first checked out streams, I was surprised by how active people were there.
Keep in mind that only public streams are free (you can send gift tips if you want). And in private rooms, you can enjoy steamy streams where you can get as naughty as you want. But members can access it only with coins, and you’ll also be asked to share your webcam and microphone.
Also, all the awards and ratings are cool features. If you want, you can join the top list of tippers or check out the most desired SBs on Sugarbook.
How to use Sugarbook
No need to be a pro to find someone hot on Sugarbook. Here is your quick step-by-step guide and my story of getting a date on the site:
- I went to Sugarbook.com and created a good enough profile
- Hopped on a few streams to drool
- Remembered that I came to find a date and went to the Search section
- Changed some filters to my personal liking
- Browsed the options in my area
- Clicked on an SB profile I liked and found to be legit
- Messaged her and got a reply within 30 min (the SB wasn’t even online)
- We chatted for a few days (and I had a few plan B sugar babies in the loop, too)
- When we hit it off, I asked the first SB on a date, and she agreed
Meeting a legit SB took me only around a week. So, I’d say that’s awesome.
Sugarbook App & Mobile

I was happy to find out that there is a Sugarbook app for both iOS and Android users. Not many sites care to develop apps these days. I used the iOS version, and it worked like a charm. Compared to the desktop version, they are exactly the same: the same profiles, the same features, and a very similar level of comfort. By the way, the desktop version is also mobile-optimized.
Safety and Privacy Policies
Sugarbook cares about the quality of its members. All profiles are manually checked during the registration, and profile photos especially go through a thorough approval. And it’s good as it helps avoid bots and make sure you connect to real hotties and not fakes. Also, some profiles are verified (around 60%), and you can see a blue badge near the user name.
So, is Sugarbook safe? I had no issues doing the review. The site is a legit sugar dating spot. But considering the niche, I strongly recommend keeping personal details private until you get some trust there. No oversharing with strangers, folks!
Customer support
When I'm testing the site, I always try to go through profile verification. First of all, it helps me see if it's legit at all. Second, it tells me to score dates faster, as girls usually reply faster to verify profiles and approach me when I have my profile verified X5 or more, probably.
I had an issue with profile verification. That's why I contacted Sugarbook client support. It's email-based, and I was able to attach some screenshots. The team reached out in under 24 hours, and the issue was resolved fast. So, there's nothing to nag about. It may be better to have some sort of live support, but there is an extensive FAQ section that is doing just fine.
Chatting with bots or is SugarBook a scam?
SugarBook is 100% legit. I’ve spent quite a bit of time checking out profiles, and I haven’t come across any bots (seriously, not even one). That’s pretty rare for a sugar dating site, where fake accounts tend to pop up.
What really stands out is the number of verified profiles. You can tell the platform takes security seriously! The strict moderation is definitely doing its job by filtering out scammers and keeping things safe.
I'd say that Sugarbook nails the sugar dating game for me. It's easy to use and feels like a very exclusive place. Sugarbook cost is pricey, but it’s worth the splurge as it packs enough features to make it worth a shot. It’s global access is also a big perk. If you're looking for a sugar baby or daddy or are open to casual dates, it might be the place for you!
Users' Reviews Analysis
We also analyzed reviews on various platforms like Trustpilot, Sitejabber, and Reviews.io, and that’s what people have to say:
What users love: app format, detailed profiles with photos, and strong security features.
What they don’t: cost of subscriptions, occasional inactive users, and limits to free chatting.
